1. Who We Are

Verify (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI persona simulation platform that helps marketers validate ad copy before spending on media. Questions about this policy can be directed to contact@verify-products.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Your email address and, if you choose to provide it, a display name. We do not collect payment card details directly — those are handled by Stripe.
• Marketing Creative: Text, images, or other assets you submit for analysis. This content is processed to generate your persona report and is not shared with third parties.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and request timing — collected to operate and improve the service.
• Cookies & Tracking: We use strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. Optional analytics and marketing cookies (including Leadsy) are only set after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To generate persona reports and engagement scores for your submitted copy.
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship via Stripe.
• Marketing Communications: We only send product updates, tips, and newsletters to users who explicitly opted in during account creation. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting us.
• AI Processing: Your submitted copy is passed to Anthropic's Claude API to generate persona analyses. Anthropic's usage policies apply to this processing. We do not use your creative content to train Anthropic or Verify models.
• We do not sell your marketing creative or personally identifiable information to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance: to provide the analysis service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests: to detect and prevent fraud, improve the platform, and maintain security.
• Consent: for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies — withdrawable at any time.

5. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access a copy of your data (available instantly from your Account page via “Download my data”); correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and all associated data (also available from your Account page); withdraw marketing consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and reports for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all reports, personas, and personal data are permanently erased within 30 days. Stripe retains billing records independently per their own retention policy.

7. Sub-Processors

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Verify:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI analysis (Claude API)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — frontend hosting
• Railway — backend hosting
• Leadsy — marketing analytics (consent-gated)

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security controls including encrypted data at rest and in transit (TLS), row-level security on the database, and short-lived session tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of Verify after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
